The Coal Mining History Resource Centre website is the UK's largest and most comprehensive website concerning the history of coalmining.

It includes a searchable database of over 164,000 recorded accidents and deaths.

The database covers the period from 1750 to the present day and the website contains location maps, reports and a photo gallery.

Please note some names are shown as "Withheld" - this is for reasons of Data Protection and relates to all records of people injured since 1950.
