The River Glaslyn overflowed the banks, and few children could reach <strong>Nantmor Schools<\/strong>. Those children who were able to attend the school had not been there half an hour when the water rushed in under the door, and filled the building to a depth of twelve inches. The children got on the benches, and ultimately had to wade knee-deep through the water to their homes.<\/p>\n<p><em>Published by Hull Daily Mail, 7 November 1898<\/em><\/p>\n<a
