Sweeping down from the mountain sides, the floods filled the rivers, and the valleys were generally under water. <strong>Beddgelert Bridge<\/strong>, an historic Norman structure, was swept away. Water covered the village <strong>church<\/strong> floor, and also the <strong>post office<\/strong>, to a depth of some feet.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Source<\/em>: Nottingham Evening post,
