Swarbrick<\/strong> found <strong>Richard Hill<\/strong> (60), railway messenger, of Fellside, Kendal, lying near the line with his left foot and hand badly crushed.<\/p>\n<p>It appears that Hill was run down by a light engine, although the driver was unaware of any accident.
