About the Owner
The Owner is a private individual who has a passion for One Place Studies in particular, and genealogy and local history in general. The Owner runs the Website, as a personal hobby and on a purely voluntary basis, as a free service to other genealogists, local historians and fellow One Place Study enthusiasts (“OnePlacers”). No income of any description is received by the Owner and costs of Domain registration, web hosting etc. are borne entirely by the Owner. The Owner also runs other One Place Study websites (“MicroSites”) on the Domain and allows other persons to do likewise from time to time. MicroSites may be hosted in unique sub-domains or in unique directories. They do not form part of the One Places Studies Directory or Website and the MicroSite owners are responsible for all content, privacy policies and cookie notices.
